{"id":34983,"date":"2023-09-21T04:05:59","date_gmt":"2023-09-21T04:05:59","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/gyalchisarshog.com\/?p=34983"},"modified":"2023-09-21T04:06:01","modified_gmt":"2023-09-21T04:06:01","slug":"russia-says-19-ukrainian-drones-downed-over-crimea-black-sea-and-regions","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/gyalchisarshog.com\/?p=34983","title":{"rendered":"Russia says 19 Ukrainian drones downed over Crimea, Black Sea, and regions"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Al Jazeera:   <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Russian aerial defence systems destroyed a wave of 19 Ukrainian drones that were launched overnight in attacks against targets in the Russia-annexed Crimean peninsula, the surrounding Black Sea and other regions of Russia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Russian defence ministry said early on Thursday that it had <a href=\"https:\/\/www.aljazeera.com\/news\/2023\/8\/25\/russia-says-destroyed-42-ukraine-launched-drones-over-crimea\">\u201cthwarted\u201d the attacks by Ukraine\u2019s aircraft-type<\/a> unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cIn the night from 20th to 21st September, an attempt by the Kyiv regime to commit a terrorist attack with lethal drones on sites in the Russian Federation was intercepted,\u201d the defence ministry said on the Telegram messaging app.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cAir defence systems destroyed 19 Ukrainian UAVs over the Black Sea and the territory of the Republic of Crimea, and one each over the territories of Kursk, Belgorod and Oryol regions,\u201d the ministry said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Belgorod and Kursk regions of Russia border eastern Ukraine, while Oryol is closer to the capital, Moscow.
