Two of the victims were treated in hospital with non-life threatening injuries, while a third person was treated at the scene.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Rudy Watchel, who lives in one of the nearby apartment buildings, said he ran outside after he heard the incident and found two other residents lying on the ground. &#8220;I heard screaming, somebody screaming &#8216;help, help, help,'&#8221; he told <a href=\"https:\/\/toronto.citynews.ca\/2023\/11\/15\/pedestrians-struck-victoria-park-north-york\/\">CityNews Toronto<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Mr Watchel said the suspect was a man in his 70s who would complain about everybody in the building.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The fourth victim, a woman, died in hospital.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Police did not offer further information on the victims, or whether there was any connection between them and the suspect, saying the investigation was in its early stages.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>BBC News: A woman has died and three people are injured after they were hit by a vehicle in Toronto, police said.
