The flight continued to Auckland after a 90-minute delay, Air New Zealand said in a statement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The carrier did not give more details about the episode.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cOur crew managed the incident well, but incidents like this are distressing for our customers and our people and we have zero tolerance for this sort of behavior on our aircraft,\u201d said an airline spokesperson, David Morgan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The diversion came less than a week after&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/apnews.com\/article\/australia-new-zealand-flight-bomb-threat-e83e27e33111fee5563df073210b980f\">another Air New Zealand flight was held on the tarmac<\/a>&nbsp;for two hours when it arrived in its destination, Sydney, following what the airline called a security incident.
