It is unclear if either had obtained lawyers, or if they would enter pleas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The U.S. has deemed Maduro an illegitimate dictator since he declared victory in a 2018 election marred by allegations of&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.reuters.com\/article\/world\/venezuelas-maduro-re-elected-amid-outcry-over-vote-idUSKCN1IL05M\/\">massive irregularities<\/a>.
