March 14 – U.S. President Donald Trump \u200csaid on Saturday that many countries would send warships to keep the Strait of Hormuz \u200bopen, but did not provide \u200bdetails on which countries would do so.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
“Many \u2060Countries, especially those who are affected \u200bby Iran\u2019s attempted closure of the Hormuz \u200bStrait, will be sending War Ships, in conjunction with the United States of America, to keep \u200bthe Strait open and safe,” Trump \u200bwrote in a post on Truth Social.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Trump said \u200che \u2060hoped that China, France, Japan, South Korea, Britain and others would send ships to the area.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
“In the meantime, the United \u200bStates will \u200bbe bombing \u2060the hell out of the shoreline, and continually shooting Iranian \u200bBoats and Ships out of \u200bthe \u2060water,” he wrote.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
