again unless Tehran fully complies with the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.reuters.com\/world\/asia-pacific\/trump-agrees-two-week-ceasefire-iran-says-safe-passage-through-hormuz-possible-2026-04-08\/\">deal<\/a>\u00a0reached with Washington.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8220;All U.S. Ships, Aircraft, and Military Personnel, with additional Ammunition, \u200bWeaponry &#8230; will remain in place in, and around, \u200bIran, until such time as the REAL AGREEMENT \u2060reached is fully complied with,&#8221; Trump said on his Truth Social platform.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8220;If \u200bfor any reason it is not, which is highly unlikely, \u200bthen the \u201cShootin\u2019 Starts,\u201d bigger, and better, and stronger than anyone has ever seen before.,&#8221; the president added.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Iran had&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.reuters.com\/world\/asia-pacific\/trump-agrees-two-week-ceasefire-iran-says-safe-passage-through-hormuz-possible-2026-04-08\/\">said<\/a>&nbsp;earlier on Wednesday \u200bthat it would be &#8220;unreasonable&#8221; to proceed with talks to \u200bforge a permanent peace deal with the United States after Israel \u200cpounded \u2060Lebanon with its heaviest strikes yet on Wednesday, killing hundreds of people.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The two sides appeared to be far apart on Iran&#8217;s nuclear program, with Trump saying Iran \u200bhad agreed to \u200bstop enriching \u2060uranium, and Iran&#8217;s parliament speaker Mohammed Bager Qalibaf saying it was allowed to continue \u200benriching uranium under the terms of the \u200bceasefire.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8220;It was \u2060agreed, a long time ago, and despite all of the fake rhetoric to the contrary &#8211;
