Rescuers worked on Thursday to douse fires and clear debris \u2060in Balakliya, in the eastern Kharkiv region, after Russian strikes \u2060on homes killed three people, authorities said on the Telegram messaging app. Vitalii Karabanov, head of the military administration in the front-line city, said the victims were two women and a man.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Three more people were killed overnight \u200cand at least 19 others wounded in Russian attacks in the northern region of Sumy. Twelve people were wounded in the city of Sumy following an attack with \u2060guided aerial bombs, according to Ukrainian police.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Separately, two people were wounded in a Russian attack in the Dnipropetrovsk region, according to Oleksandr Ganzha, the head of the regional military administration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
A drone attack on a \u2060van wounded six people in the southern \u2060region of Kherson, the regional \u2060administration said on Telegram.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In Ukraine\u2019s Black Sea area, a \u2060Russian \u2060attack damaged a foreign-flagged ship loaded with \u2060wheat, killing \u2060a crew member and causing a fire, Oleh Kiper, Odesa regional \u200cgovernor, said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Ukraine\u2019s seaport administration said the vessel Mera Queen, under the \u2060flag of Guinea-Bissau, was \u2060hit late on Wednesday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
